Hello everybody !
You are invited to join us on our amazing weekend in Zermatt. We’re going to take a bus and a train to go up to Zermatt and then a cable car before we start walking. The 5-Seenweg (Five Lakes Walk) is one of the most beautiful hike in the Zermatt area. The view of the turquoise-water mountain lakes (with the Matterhorn reflected in three of them) is breathtaking! If you’re lucky, you might even see some marmots, ibexes or eagles! This is an intermediate level hike, you do not need to be athletic but be sure to be in a good shape (approximately 5-hour hike). Do not forget to bring hiking shoes, warm clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses and enough food and water for the whole day. As we will be walking with our bags, make sure it’s not too heavy and that you can carry it ! At night we'll be staying at a Youth Hostel where we'll have dinner and an evening activity with music, snacks and drinks. The next day we are going to go to Randa and cross the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge (not recommended if you suffer from vertigo)!
The weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, so we will keep you posted in case we have to change our plans !

Bonjour à tous !
Nous vous invitons à nous rejoindre pour notre première excursion incroyable à Zermatt. La 5-Seenweg (randonnée des cinq lacs) est une des plus belles randonnées de la région de Zermatt. La vue sur les lacs de montagne à l’eau turquoise (avec le Cervin reflété dans trois d’entre eux) est à couper le souffle, même pour les Suisses ! Vous aurez peut-être même la chance de croiser des marmottes, bouquetins ou aigles !
Nous prendrons un bus et en train pour monter à Zermatt, puis un funiculaire pour rejoindre le départ de la randonnée. C’est une marche de niveau intermédiaire, tu n’as donc pas besoin d’être très sportifs, mais sois sûrs d’être en forme (environ 5h de marche). N’oublies pas de prendre de bonnes chaussures de marche, des vêtements chauds, des lunettes de soleil, de la crème solaire et assez de nourriture et d’eau pour toute la journée. Comme on va marcher avec nos sacs à dos, sois sûr(e) de pouvoir le porter. Le soir nous dormirons à l'auberge de jeunesse à Zermatt, où nous allons manger le repas du soir et une activité sera organisée avec de la musique, des boissons et snacks. Le lendemain nous irons à Randa traverser le plus long pont suspendu pédestre du monde (déconseillé si tu as le vertige)!
Le temps en montagne peut être imprévisible, nous allons donc surveiller de près la météo et nous vous tiendrons au courant si on doit changer nos plans!
