It will open friday at 6pm, and close sunday evening!
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email. If the maximum number of participants was reached before you could register, you will be placed on the waiting list.
As soon as you get the confirmation, your place will be booked and you can go pay (see below). But please do wait for the confirmation.
For those who are on the waiting list, we will tell you by email if we find a place for you but we cannot make sure everyone gets one.

Ready to get your Christmas mood on? Stuff your face with cheesy spätzli, traditional läckerli and mulled wine? Do these words sound like gibberish to you? Then join us at the Basel Christmas market to discover what they are all about! Situated on the banks of the river Rhine, the city and its historical old town are worth a visit; what better time to go than when you can warm up with a hot Christmas drink while strolling through the city (;
PROGRAM:
- Typical basel snack on the train
- Free time in the different Christmas market venues
- Visit of the old town and for those interested of the 11th-century cathedral where Erasmus from Rotterdam lies buried
- Crossing of the Rhine on a Fähri, a boat driven by current alone
- A glass of wine, beer or soft drink at the Bar Rouge - a bar on the 31st floor of Switzerland's highest building with view over the town. Offered by your ESN association!
WHAT TO BRING
Don't forget to bring warm clothes as we will be outside for most of the day, and it’s getting pretty chilly as you may have noticed.
Food, drinks and goodies at the Christmas market are not cheap, so don’t forget to bring some cash and picnic for the ride home if you want. But believe us, it’s worth paying to try the food.

Le formulaire ouvre vendredi à 18h, et fermera dimanche soir.
Une fois inscrit(e), tu vas recevoir un email de confirmation. Si le nombre maximum de participants est atteint avant ton inscription, tu seras placé(e) sur liste d'attente.
Dès lors que tu reçois la confirmation, ta place sera réservée et tu pourras payer (voir en-dessous). Mais STP attends la confirmation.
Pour ceux qui sont sur la liste d'attente, on vous préviendra par email si on trouve une place pour vous mais on ne peut pas garantir une place à tout le monde.

Prêt à se mettre dans l’atmosphère de Noël ? Se goinfrer de spätzli au fromage, de läckerli et de vin chaud? Est-ce que ces mots t'évoquent la moindre chose? Si non, rejoins nous au marché de Noël de Bâle pour découvrir de quoi il s'agit ! La ville et sa vieille ville, situées sur les rives du Rhin valent le détour ; et quel meilleur moment pour les visiter qu'avec une boisson chaude et des lumières de Noël tout autour?

- Un verre de vin, bière ou soft au Bar Rouge, situé au 31ème étage de l'un des plus hauts immeubles de Suisse, avec vue imprenable sur la ville. Offert par la maison ESN!
QUOI AMENER
N'oubliez pas de prendre des habits chauds, la plupart de la journée se déroulant dehors! Et bon il fait frisquet frisquet hein. Prévoit aussi de bonnes chaussures chaudes.
Les prix du marché de Noël restent des prix Suisses, donc prenez un peu d'argent et éventuellement un pic-nic pour le retour avec vous!
