There will be TWO different groups for the day: an easier one (“chill group”, 1.15 hour of walk) and a more difficult one (“challenger group”, around 3.30 hours of walk). The two groups will meet on the boat on the way back

 

Chill :

✦ DESCRIPTION:
Hi there !
If you came to Switzerland to see huge mountains , to hike in beautiful places and to see some wild animals like marmots, this is the perfect event for you. We invite you to join us on a day-trip to Rocher-de-Naye.

The plan for "chill" is to walk around 1.15 hour to go to the Rochers-de-Naye where you will have one of the best panoramas on the lake. Then we shall stop to have lunch with a breath-taking view, so don't forget to bring your take-away lunch ! We will also visit a botanic garden and a place where we can see some marmots (we hope that they will be there !!!). Then we will take the train back to Montreux and we will walk to reach Chillon’ castle for a snack near the lake. To end this amazing day, we will take the boat to go back to Lausanne for 6:30pm.

The plan for "challengers" is to walk around 3h30 to go at the top of the mountain (we shall stop to have lunch on the way up, surrounded by a breath-taking view, so don't forget to bring your take-away lunch !). When we finally reach the top, we will also visit a botanic garden and a place where we can see some marmots (we hope that they will be there !!!). Then we will take the train back to Montreux and have a snack near the lake. To finish this extraordinary day, we will take the boat back to Lausanne (Ouchy) and arrive around 6:30pm.

The two groups will meet on the boat !!!

Be aware that temperatures are close to 5°C at that time, so dress up accordingly! There is also a risk of snow, so gloves, hat and scarf are highly recommended. The weather in the mountain is unpredictable so we will keep you tuned if we need to change our plans. In the same way, remember to take good shoes, if possible hiking ones as we go up to 2000 meters.
Price includes the transportation and some well-deserved snacks.

Il existe DEUX groupes de marche différents : l'un est le plus facile ("chill group", 1h15 de marche en montagne puis une petite marche (45 minutes) près du lac) et l'autre est plus difficile ("challengers", environ 3H30 de marche en montagne).

 

Chill :

Salut !
Si tu es venu en Suisse pour profiter des paysages alpins, pour faire de la randonnée dans des endroits magnifiques et pour voir des animaux sauvages comme les marmottes, c'est l'événement parfait pour toi. Nous t'invitons à te joindre à nous pour une excursion d'une journée au Rochers-de-Naye.

Le plan pour le groupe "chill" est de marcher environ 1H15 pour aller jusqu’au sommet de la montagne puis nous nous arrêterons pour manger devant une vue à couper le souffle, alors n'oublie pas d'apporter ton pic-nic! Nous visiterons également un jardin botanique et un endroit où nous pourrons voir quelques marmottes (nous espérons qu'elles seront là !!!). Ensuite, nous prendrons le train pour retourner à Montreux et nous marcherons environ 45 minutes jusqu'à Chillon (il y a un trèssssss beau château là-bas) et nous prendrons une collation près du lac. Pour terminer cette journée extraordinaire, nous prendrons le bateau pour retourner à Lausanne.

Le plan pour les "challengers" est de marcher environ 3 heures et demie pour aller au sommet de la montagne (nous nous arrêterons pour manger pendant la montée, entourés d'une vue à couper le souffle, alors n'oublie pas d'apporter ton pic-nic !) Lorsque nous atteindrons enfin le sommet, nous visiterons également un jardin botanique et un endroit où nous pourrons voir quelques marmottes (nous espérons qu'elles seront là !!!). Ensuite, nous prendrons le train pour retourner à Montreux et nous prendrons une collation près du lac. Pour terminer cette journée extraordinaire, nous prendrons le bateau pour retourner à Lausanne (Ouchy) et arriverons à 18h30.

Les deux groupes se retrouveront sur le bateau et rentreront ensemble !!!

Pense que les températures sont proches de 5° à cette période de l’année, alors habille-toi en conséquence ! Il risque aussi d'y avoir de la neige donc bonnet, gants et écharpe sont fortement conseillés ! Le temps dans la montagne est imprévisible et change très rapidement, nous te tiendrons au courant si nous devons changer nos plans. Pense aussi à prendre de bonnes chaussures, si possible des chaussures de montagnes comme nous allons monter jusqu’à 2000 mètres.
Le prix comprend le transport et une collation bien méritée.
