Dear Erasmus,
Erasmus Student Network is organising an initiative, the Social Inclusion Days. More than 500 local associations in 40 countries will host events in order to raise awareness and take action on the topics of volunteering and disability from November 19th until December 3rd.
The two-week initiative provides opportunities for international students to learn how they can contribute to improve society in their exchange country, show them how student mobility is enriched by volunteering and the importance of the social impact international volunteers have upon the local communities.
Have you ever wondered what it is like to have to leave your country and to emigrate to another continent? To discover and to have to get used to a new environment? To put yourself in the shoes of someone who is living this situation? If you feel concerned by this topic, then join us for a special Cultural Café where a guest speaker will tell us about his life experience as an emigrant person, the way he perceived at first his new life environment and which struggles he had to face.
The presentation will end with some drinks and snacks.

Cher (Chère) Erasmus,
Erasmus Student Network organise les Social Inclusion Days qui est une initiative regroupant plus de 500 associations locales dans 40 pays. Ceux-ci vont accueillir des événements de sensibilisation concernant l’inclusion sociale et d’action en faveur du volontariat et du handicap du 19 novembre au 3 décembre.
Cette initiative sur deux semaines va fournir des opportunités aux étudiants internationaux d’apprendre comment ils peuvent contribuer à améliorer la société de leur pays d’échange, de leur montrer la manière dont ces opportunités peuvent enrichir leur expérience de la mobilité, ainsi que l’importance de l’impact social que les bénévoles ont sur les communautés locales.
T'es-tu déjà demandé(e) ce que cela faisait de devoir quitter son pays et d'émigrer sur un autre continent? De découvrir et de devoir s'adapter à un nouvel environnement? T'es-tu déjà mis(e) à la place de quelqu'un dans cette situation? Si cela te parle, alors joins-toi à nous pour ce Café Culturel spécial où notre invité te fera part de son expérience de la vie d'une personne émigrante, la manière dont il a perçu son pays d'accueil à son arrivée et les difficultés auxquelles il a fait face .
La présentation sera suivie de boissons et snacks.
