Hello new Lausanner!
Here is the link of the registration page of the next Welcome Week, organized by ESN Lausanne (ESN UNIL + ESN EPFL) and which will take place from September 13 to 19, 2021!
Before continuing to register, we ask you to read carefully the instructions below before going to the next page to register.
How does registration work?
The Welcome week will include many activities that will take place in-person during the day and in the evening.
You will be able to register for packs containing several activities or select the activities one by one "à la carte". If you choose a pack, you will also be able to add activities that are not included in this pack if there are still spots available.
To register, you will have to fill in this form and pay as soon as it opens. You can already fill in the fields, but you will only be able to pay from Wednesday September 1st at 13:00. You will get your place only when you have paid. Be careful: spots are limited, so first come, first served. The form may take a few minutes to fill out because we ask you to provide a lot of information, we therefore advise you to do it in advance. These data will of course be collected only by the organizing committee of the Welcome Week and will never be transmitted to third parties.
As soon as you have filled in everything, you can pay by credit card online or in cash at our ESN office in the Anthropole building of the University of Lausanne (ANT 1128.1) on Thursday, September 2 from 12:00 to 13:00 and Friday, September 3 from 12:00 to 13:00. If you pay by card, your purchases are reserved for 15 minutes before payment. If you choose the cash option, your place is reserved for 24 hours before payment.
Once your ticket is purchased, there is no refund possible. However, you can try to find someone to take you spot. If you sell your ticket to someone, please contact @thefroidmigros on Telegram or welcomeweek@lausanne.esn.ch per mail to let us know who is taking your spot. By the way, if you don't have the Telegram application, we advise you to download it as soon as possible because most of our communication will be done through this channel.

Speedfriending
When? Monday, September 13, between 10:00 a-m- and 6:00 p.m. (slots/groups: 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 13:30- 15:30 p.m. or 16:00-18:00 p.m.)
Where? at the Grande Salle du Motty
What? The week's official kick off, where we all gather together and where you will meet your future friends from exchange and ESN buddies around fun games ! Definitely not to be missed!

Swiss Fondue Night
When? Refuge d'Ecublens and Grande Salle du Motty
Where? Monday, September 13 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.
What? Discover the swiss national meal and share a wonderful evening with cheese, wine and international people!

Rallye in Lausanne
When? Tuesday, September 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where? In the center of the city of Lausanne, meeting point at Flon
What? Discover the most interesting places in the city center of Lausanne ! At each spot, we will welcome you with an original challenge and our local students will give you tips and good addresses nearby !

Sitsit
When? Tuesday, September 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Where? at the Refuge d'Ecublens
What? Ready for the first official ESN party post-covid? A very exclusive dinner imported straight from Scandinavian campuses, and one of our most cherished traditions, the Sitsit is on the tracks once more, with plenty of food, drinks, and insanity for an unforgettable night in a private venue hidden in the Lausanne forests. Our trusted Songmasters will carry you through many songs and other animations and cannot wait to make your stay in Lausanne start with a bang unlike anything you've experienced before!

Olympiads + Buffet at the lake
When? Wednesday, September 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where? At the Vidy Pyramids
What? Hello young greek, can you hear the call of the Gods? They want you to fight, prove your valor and gain glory! The Ancient Olympic Games have reborn here in Lausanne. With your team, you will demonstrate your courage through various epic games such as the Aphrodite Postures, the Hermes Path, Athena’s Fight and an Authentic Charriot Race. During this blessed day, a divine Banquet will satisfy your champion stomach. Brace yourself, you will soon become a true olympian!

Cottage Party: Vamos a la playa
When? Wednesday, September 15, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Where? at the Refuge d'Ecublens
What? A trademark event of ESN Lausanne : the Cottage Party. The dance floor will be going strong all night long with everything you need to have fun included! Feel free to come disguised with anything evoking latino vibes and the beach!

Campus Tour
When? Thursday, September 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where? At the EPFL and UNIL Campus (meeting point to be confirmed)
What? You're probably wondering how you'll get to find your way around campus at the start of the year, well what better way to do it than by playing games all around campus with us! So keep your books away for now and join us for our Campus Tour 2021!

Running Dinner (No registration in this form)
When? Thursday, September 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where? At host's places; maybe at your place ;)
What? The concept might seem confusing at first, but it’s actually very simple and so much fun! In a nutshell, 2-3 people cook together a meal (either a starter, a main dish, or a dessert). This team will eat the two remaining meals at other teams' places and will themselves welcome 2 teams to eat what they have cooked. All the teams you will encounter will be different which will allow you to spend the night with many lovely humans. What better way to get to know more people than around a meal and some drinks?
Price: You don't have to pay us anything but you will pay with the person who cooks with you what you buy for your guests.

Party in a Nightclub
When? Thursday, September 16, from 11:00 p.m.
Where? In the Hype Club
What? Did you miss the nightclubs? That's perfect because we're bringing you one of the most famous nightclubs in Lausanne: The Hype Club!Come to dance and enjoy the great prices we have especially for you on drinks!

International Lunch
When? Friday, September 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where? At the Foyer des Pâquis
What? Prepare a dish from your country of origin, take your lunchbox and come share an international lunch ! We will take care of having a well furnished Swiss stand.
Price: 10 CHF (We'll reimburse you at the moment of the event if you bring a whole dish from you region/country. However, we take the liberty of refusing to reimburse you if we feel that the food you bring is not a real dish, e.g. leftovers from the previous day)

- Friday, September 17th is the information day for new students at EPFL. Please take this into account before registering for the International Lunch as the event is non-refundable.
Chalet Weekend
When? From Friday, September 17 at 4:00 p.m. to Sunday, September 19 at 5:00 p.m.
Where? in a Chalet in Torgon, Valais
What? Come and experience an crazy weekend in the Swiss Alps! Our team will prepare you exciting activities! During the day, you will have the choice between the following activities: hike, archery, minigolf, climbing, petanque, soccer or ultimate.
Then we'll have two themed parties at the chalet. To start the weekend off right, we’ve organized a Blacklight party on Friday night. We’ll provide white shirts, some face painting and lots of fluorescent stuff to keep the party glowing. There’ll also be some pens for you to draw something special on your friends shirt ! On Saturday night, be ready for The Grammys After-Party : bring your nicest red-carpet outfit for our Gala event! Play at the casino, learn how to dance rock and maybe take a picture with the biggest stars of the industry! Dresscode: black-tie, but feel free to experiment with colour and texture and to show off your best party outfit.

COVID-19
The health pass (COVID Certificate) that approves that you are fully vaccinated, tested or have had covid is mandatory for the following activities:
- Speedfriending
- Swiss Fondue Night
- Sitsit
- Olympiads & Buffet at the lake
- Cottage party
- Nightclub
- International Lunch
- Chalet Weekend
Any person that is not able to provide a valid Covid Certificate at the entrance will not be able to participate in the event and will not be reimbursed.

Packages
On the first page of the registration, you will have to choose a package. These packages are detailed below. On the second page, you will be able to choose the extra activities you wish to add.
Full pack (50CHF): Speedfriending, Fondue, Rallye, Olympiads&Buffet, Cottage party, Campus Tour, Nightclub.
Half pack (30CHF): Speedfriending, Rallye, Olympiads&Buffet, Campus Tour, Nightclub.
No pack: You can choose all the activities "à la carte" one by one as long as there are places left.
Be careful: the weekend chalet, the sitsit and the international lunch are not part of any package.
ESN card
You will also have the opportunity to purchase the ESN card. Through this card you can get discount price on all of our events (except for the Welcome Week), great deals and discounts with our local, international and national partners.
The ESNcard costs 15 CHF and is valid for the whole year. The card will also be sold all the year at our office.
